No outside assistance is permitted during the event. Racer-to-racer assistance is permitted if both parties are actively participating in the event.
All obstacles must be completed correctly to continue on in the event event unless otherwise noted.
Racers are responsible for following the course as marked.
It is the responsibility of the racer to know and understand the race route.
All racers must wear an unaltered URBANATHLON® race number on the front of their person, at all times. Race numbers must be clearly visible throughout the event, unless stated otherwise by Race Officials.
Racers caught littering the course will be assessed a time penalty and may be disqualified from the event.
Race Management reserves the right to change or alter the course at any time for logistical, weather or safety reasons.
Race Management reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event in the event of an act of war or Mother Nature.
Wave One is optional for all athletes who qualify, but NOT required. Should a racer choose, he/she may forgo their qualifying time and run with their age group.
If you qualify and choose to compete in this wave:
Racers who feel they qualify for Wave One, but have not run the Men's Health URBANATHLON®, will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Interested parties should submit relevant race results to email@example.com, subject line: "Wave One Request."
Racers must start with their assigned wave. Racers who do not start as part of their assigned wave will not be given a finish time and will not be listed in the results.
Staging for race start will begin 30 minutes prior to start. Racers need to look for their assigned wave's staging sign within the start area and line up first-come, first-served.
Timing Headquarters keeps the official time clock for the competition. The race clock is NET time; it begins when a racer crosses the timing mats at the start and stops when they cross the timing mat at the finish line.
Medical personnel have final say as to whether or not a racer is fit to continue the race.
Each relay team will be issued a timing chip. The chip must be passed from member to member throughout the event. Each member is required to use it according to the directions provided in race packets.
Racers who have completed their race leg are not permitted to assist other relay team members in any way while they are participating in the event.
You MUST be present to receive your award. No awards will be mailed.
Finisher medals will be given to ALL racers who complete the event.
