OBSTACLE COURSE 1: POLICE BARRICADES & TIRE STUTTER STEP COMBO - NAVY PIER

OBSTACLE RULES

1. Go under all blue police barricades without knocking the barricade down or lifting the top cross bar off.
2. Move through the tire portion of the obstacle in "stutter-step" style, touching your foot to the ground inside each consecutive tire.
3. You are not permitted to skip a tire or run on top of the tires.
4. Repeat sections three through seven of the police barricades and tire stutter step in the same manner as the first two sections.
5. Those who violate course elements must return to the beginning of the obstacle and start over.

OBSTACLE RULES

1. You must go over all plastic barricades.
2. You must go under all cargo nets.
3. Those who violate course elements must return to the beginning of the obstacle and start over.

OBSTACLE COURSE 3: TRAFFIC CONES WITH POLES & PALLET WALLS COMBO - GREAT LAWN

OBSTACLE RULES

1. You are required to go over each of the cones hurdles.
2. You are required to go over each of the pallet stack obstacles.
3. You are not permitted to go around any of the obstacles.
4. You are not permitted to go under the cone hurdles.

OBSTACLE COURSE 4: PARALLEL BARS & MONKEY BARS COMBO - McCORMICK PLACE

OBSTACLE RULES

1. Racers must step up on to parallel bars and handwalk to traverse the parallel bars to the other side without touching the ground.
2. If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt, you are required to make another attempt.
3. If your second attempt proves unsuccessful, Race Staff will direct you to the penalty area, where you will be required to complete 12 push-ups before being permitted to continue on with the event.
4. Traverse the monkey bars and get to the other side without touching the ground.
5. No skipping rungs permitted.
6. If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt, you are required to make another attempt.
7. If your second attempt proves unsuccessful, Race Staff will direct you to the penalty area, where you will be required to complete 12 push-ups before being permitted to continue on with the event.
8. Racers must step up on to parallel bars and handwalk to traverse the parallel bars to the other side without touching the ground.
9. If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt, you are required to make another attempt.
10. If your second attempt proves unsuccessful, Race Staff will direct you to the penalty area, where you will be required to complete 12 push-ups before being permitted to continue on with the event.

OBSTACLE COURSE 5: JEEP® CRAWL & MARINE HURDLES COMBO - SOLDIER FIELD/ STADIUM GREEN

OBSTACLE RULES

1. Proceed through the "Jeep® Crawl" by crawling under the 2 rows of Jeeps.
2. Get up and over each of the three "Marine Hurdle" rungs.
3. The outside support structures are off limits at all times. Both feet must touch the ground between each rung.
4. Complete part two of the "Marine Hurdles".
5. The outside support structures are off limits at all times. Both feet must touch the ground between each rung.
6. Rules violation means you must return to the beginning of the obstacle course and start over with the "Jeep® Crawl" obstacle.

OBSTACLE COURSE 6: STAIR CLIMB - SOLDIER FIELD

OBSTACLE RULES

1. Enter Gate 0 (south end of stadium)
2. Climb stairs to 200 level, 65 stairs up
3. Proceed to East Colonnades, 15 stairs up
4. Ascend stairs to East Colonnades, 10 stairs up
5. Proceed through the Colonnades to stairs at North end of Colonnades
6. Descend stairs, 10 stairs down
7. Proceed to Section 256/356. Please note: section 255/355 is overflow route.
8. Continue left and climb stairs to Miller Deck, 54 stairs up
9. Proceed across Miller Deck and take ramp down to 200 level
10. Continue right towards Section 249/350
11. Proceed down stairs to 100 level (non-alcoholic section) Mezzanine, 68 stairs down
12. Continue right towards the stairs to the Media Deck, ascend stairs, 34 stairs up
13. Proceed through the Media Deck to the stairs towards the Bears Den, descend stairs, 48 stairs down
14. Continue through the Bears Den, turn left and ascend stairs to Mezzanine and to Media Deck Section 228/246, 47 stairs up
15. Proceed right to the stairs near Motorola Section 230/238 and descend stairs to Courtyard (ground floor), 51 stairs down
16. Continue to your left on the ground floor, then left again to access the ramp
17. Ascend the ramp to the Grand Stand 300 level (ascend 6 switch backs)
18. At the Grand Stand level there will be two equal but separate routes. Route A will begin at section 329/429 and consist of climbing 200 stairs. Route B will begin at section 334/435 and consist of climbing 200 stairs.
19. Both routes will bring racers back out on the Grand Stand Concourse where runners will head north and exit the stadium towards McFetridge Drive.
20. TOTAL STAIRS: 459 climbed.

OBSTACLE COURSE 7: TAXIS & BUSES TO CHAIN LINK CRAWL TO WALL FINISH - UPPER HUTCHINSON FIELD

OBSTACLE RULES

1. In the order shown, go up and over the taxis and buses. Go under the chain link and over the wall. Never go around any element of the obstacle course.
2. You are required to face the buses and climb down the cargo nets to descend. Jumping from the bus obstacle or from the top of the wall is not permitted. Doing so will result in immediate disqualification. Please use the infrastructure provided to descend safely.
3. Using the support structures protruding from the walls to assist you in this obstacle is not permitted.
